HUNGER IN INDIA

 Hello, My name is Pratik. 

This is my first blog. I would be posting blogs on environment or social issues which are faced by people around us. Also I would be providing solutions to it. 

So let's begin.. 

First of all what does hunger means? 

When our throat is dry we get a feeling of drinking water , same applys to hunger. When we get a feeling of eating food is referred as hunger. 

One of the primary causes of hunger across the nation is widespread poverty. 

Some Statistics from Wikipedia and other sources :-

1) Centre submitted the report says, "69% deaths in children under 5 years due to malnutrition and malnourishment in the year 2022.

2) Approximately 4500 children die every day under the age of five years in the country due to hunger and malnutrition, amounting to over three lakh deaths every year, owing to hunger, of children alone. 

My suggestions to such problems are :-

1) Reducing food wastage can play a big role in reducing hunger.

2) Events should be organized where children should be given food to it. Such example of this can be "Feeding India" organized by zomato.
